Retinal Vein Occlusion is the second most common vascular retinal disorder after diabetic retinopathy. The majority of people were confusing vein occlusion with artery occlusion but I always believe that if we understand something we will never confuse it with any similar thing.

Retinal Vein Occlusion Symptoms

If we talk about the symptoms of retinal vein occlusion then it ranges from subtle to very obvious and there is painless blurring or loss of vision. Retinal Vein Occlusion always affects only one eye. In the initial stage, the blurring or loss of vision might be slight but with time, it gets worse.

Treatment For The Complications Of Retinal Vein Occlusion May Include:

If macular edema is present then there is a Focal laser treatment.

Anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (anti-VEGF) drug into the eye is also helpful for the treatment of Retinal Vein Occlusion.

Laser treatment is helpful to stop the growth of new, abnormal blood vessels that leads to glaucoma.
